About the Hospital

Owolabi Specialist Hospital is a government approved facility founded in 2021.  Our vision is to provide state of the art and affordable healthcare to everyday Nigerians.  

 

The hospital was founded by a U.S. trained medical doctor who was inspired to return to Nigerian by his grandfather Pa. Owolabi whom the hospital is named after.

 

Our core focus is cardiovascular medicine.  Lack of access to cardiovascular care is one of the leading causes of untimely death in Nigeria.  Our core mission is to address this disparity by providing affordable cardiovascular services to everybody regardless of their status in life. 

 

We also have consultants in Internal medicine, Peadiatrics, Neurology, Ob/Gyne, Endocrinology, General surgery, Urology, diagnostic services and many more.

Dr. Temitayo Odesanya
Medical Director

Background
Dr. Odesanya is a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania U.S.A and Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennesse, U.S.A.  He is licensed to practice medicine in U.S.A and Nigeria and continues to practice in both continues.  Dr. Odesanya has a particular focus on preventative medicine, congestive heart failure management and critical care medicine.
